Studio Policy

This policy exists so that both student and teacher know exactly what to expect. Please read it carefully before enrolling.

01Lesson Format & Schedule

  • Lessons are held weekly and last 60 minutes.
  • Each student is assigned a fixed weekly day and time, held exclusively for them.
  • Two lessons per week are possible by arrangement with the teacher, subject to availability.
  • Lessons every other week are also possible, at €180 per month, by arrangement.

02Tuition

  • Tuition is payable at the beginning of each month: €300/month for the standard weekly plan, or €100 per individual lesson.
  • The monthly fee is the same whether a given month contains four or five weeks.
  • Enrolment works the same way as at any music school: you are paying for the reserved place in the studio's calendar, not for individual lessons.
  • Students who prefer not to pay a monthly subscription may pay per lesson. In this case no slot or time is reserved; each lesson is arranged separately, according to availability.

03Attendance & Missed Lessons

  • Because your slot is reserved for you alone, responsibility for attending lies entirely with the student. A lesson that cannot be attended is not refunded or credited.
  • One rescheduled lesson per month may be requested, subject to availability.
  • To request a change, the teacher must be notified at least 48 hours in advance.
  • If notice is given less than 48 hours before the lesson, or the student does not attend without notice, the lesson is considered taught.

04Late Arrivals

  • If a student arrives more than 15 minutes late without notifying the teacher, the lesson is considered completed.
  • If the student notifies the teacher in advance that they will be late, the teacher will wait until the scheduled end of the lesson time.
  • Late arrival does not extend the lesson.

05Studio Closures

  • The studio is closed for a set number of days each year around Christmas, Easter, and in the summer. The exact dates are announced well in advance.
  • These closures do not affect monthly tuition, which is payable as usual.
Every year contains four or five months with five weeks rather than four. Those additional lessons offset the days on which the studio is closed — so over the course of a year, the student receives the full value of their tuition.

06Payment Methods

  • Payments are accepted via PayPal, Wise, Revolut, or bank transfer. Wise and Revolut are recommended.
  • Any transfer-related charges are borne by the student. The amount received by the studio must match the tuition due in full.

07Refunds

  • No refunds are issued under any circumstances.

By enrolling, the student confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted the terms set out above.
